Vicenza Travel and Tourism

Vicenza is located in the Veneto region of northern Italy, close to Verona and Venice. Although overshadowed by its more famous neighbours, it's a lovely town to visit; with a beautiful, compact town centre and attractive villas and viewpoints in the hills a short walk away. Influential sixteenth-century architect Andrea Palladio oversaw the building of much of the towns fine architecture and as a result Vicenza is on UNESCO's list of World heritage sites. Easily reached by train from Verona or Venice you could visit the city on a day trip or base yourself here.
