Modena FC are a small club who were founded in 1912. They have had two spells in Serie A, forty years apart. Relegated to Serie B in 2004 their fans will be hoping they won't have to wait as long again to see top flight football in the town.

The stadium is within easy walking distance of the station.

Tickets can be bought from the ticket-office at the stadium (opening times on club website), or in advance from branches of the Banca Popolare dell’Emilia Romagna. Women, children and over-65s are entitled to reduced-price tickets.
