About Venezia

Originally founded in 1907, Venezia are another team that have been brought low by financial problems and forced to re-invent themselves in the lower regional leagues. Until recently they had spent much of their history in Serie Aand have one Coppa Italia title to their name.

If you are planning a trip to Venice and want a break from sightseeing, watching the local team play offers something a bit different.

Venice Travel and Tourism

Venice needs little or no introduction and is itself one large tourist sight, one of the most breathtaking in the world. The name alone conjures up images of gondoliers in striped jerseys, the Rialto and the Bridge of Sighs, masked balls, and crumbling palaces facing streets made of water.

With so much to see and do you, may not leave the city but there are also plenty of other sights nearby like the beaches of the Lido or the towns of Padua and Treviso. All of these can be easily reached from Venice's two airports which are served by budget flights from the UK.
